11th PSITE National Convention

The 11th PSITE National Convention is scheduled on February 26-28, 2009, at Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte, in Mindanao.  This three-day convention promises a lot of interesting interactions, fun, and sharing of the chapters' bests, and from the invited resource speakers from diverse backgrounds.  The program aims to provide the attendees and participants the ITE Best Practices in the areas of Instruction, Research and Development, Extension and Linkages, Technopreneurship, and other leading IT technologies and industry practices.

A Successful NCITE!!!

The National Conference on Information Technology Education (NCITE 2008) held at the NCAS Auditorium, UP Los Banos last October 23-24, 2008, was a resounding success.  The conference provided a venue to present innovative ideas, approaches, developments and results of research projects in the areas of Information Technology and Technology-based Education.  The topics presented were diverse, which included Weather Monitoring System using SMS, Usability of Philippine Higher Education Institution's Websites, and Automatic Acquisition of Morphological Rules for Tagalog. 

The conference also promoted the exchange of information between researchers, faculty, administrators, and I.T. practitioners.
